ViewNX-i is a media manager that offers you the possibility to view and edit the image files captured with your Nikon camera. The app is compatible with all cameras that use the NEF, NRW, JPG, or TIFF file formats for the output.

Browse your photo collection and see detailed information about each image file

Within the ViewNX-i main window, you get to browse your drive and preview the picture files contained in various folders. For your convenience, ViewNX-i can sort the listing by shot date, modification date, camera name, lens, ISO sensitivity, exposure time, focal length, and white balance.

ViewNX-i enables you to view the file size and extension, the image resolution and various camera related details. Also, you get to examine the image’s histogram and the XMP/IPTC information.

On the other hand, ViewNX-i also brings image editing capabilities: you get to adjust the exposure component, the white balance, sharpness, contrast, brightness, the highlight and shadow protection, the D-Light HS, the color booster, and so on. The app also integrates cropping capabilities.

Effortlessly add geolocation information to your image files and connect to your Nikon account

The ViewNX-i application offers you the option to login to the Nikon Image Space service, or to your Facebook account to help you share your images with others in no time.

Furthermore, the ViewNX-i Map view can be used to search for specific locations via Google Maps and then assign geolocation information to any image file: just drop the pin in the appropriate position, and ViewNX-i takes care of the rest.

Image viewer that connects you to companion Nikon utilities

Worth mentioning is that the ViewNX-i installer also deploys additional Nikon software that can help you further edit the image files, to convert or combine movies, to transfer media files, and so on.

You can access these apps through your Applications directory, or you can launch them from the ViewNX-i app directly whenever you want to use their capabilities.
